The organisational position “Coordination of quality certification inspections” was established by Decree of the General Director n. 297 of 23.04.2019, within the Directorate General, and coordinates following activities:
- Coordination and management of the ASSAM Public Control Authority (Italian acronym: APC);
- Implementation and monitoring of the APC documents to maintain the compliance with/ accreditation according to the standard UNI CEI EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012 “General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories”;
- Resources management to carry out activities in an effective and efficient way;
- Planning of the certification of products/services for the Regulated Certification Systems PDO, PGI, TGS and Optional labelling of beef, labelled as QM – “Marche Guaranteed Quality” and Optional: detection of the needed requirements for the inspection and evaluation of the control results (documents and analysis); editing of dossiers on the resolutions concerning the acknowledgements and/or maintenance of the different certification schemes;
- Collaboration with the Organisation Position “Authority for control, traceability and productions quality – Analysis laboratory” in setting down the objectives, developing and implementing the APC activities.
