The Organisational Position “Management of regional agrometereological services”, established by Decree of the General Director n. 120 of 05.05.2022, within the Function Position (PF) "Marche Region Plant Protection Service (Marche RPPS) and Agrometeorology", coordinates following activities:
- Study and analysis of climate change, climatology in the Marche Region;
- Management of the regional weather stations network, meteorological data collection and processing;
- Weather database management and development of local weather forecasts addressed to the farming and rural sector (weather bulletin and web site);
- Management of the Local agrometeorological centres (CAL) for monitoring the agro-phenological and epidemiological features of the main crops, information and dissemination (agro-meteorological report and web site);
- Agro-meteorological advice to the Marche Region and the Regional Plant Protection Service for the implementation of the National Action Plan for the Sustainable Use of Plant Protection Products (NAP).
